Allgemeine Info Gattung GrĂĽne Ochsenzunge (Pentaglottis):The genus Pentaglottis has only 1 species; Pentaglottis sempervirens. The genus is closely related to Anchusa and belongs to the rough-leaved family. Pentaglottis does not bloom particularly profusely, but the beautiful blue flowers with a white center appear over a long period of time. Pentaglottis fits well in a natural planting in a spot in partial shade to shade on normally moist soil. If the soil is moist enough, the plant can tolerate more sun. Pentaglottis occurs wild here and there, especially in places that are rich in nitrogen, e.g. in parks at the border of paths and shrubs. Because of its long flowering period, Pentaglottis is a prized insect plant.GrĂĽne Ochsenzunge - Pentaglottis sempervirens
